The Sudanese Society of Breast Imaging is a voluntary charitable organization.

The Sudanese Society of Breast Imaging was established in 2018 and has since carried out numerous activities in the field of early breast cancer detection in Sudan. This has been achieved through various partnerships with healthcare institutions, voluntary organizations, universities, and others.

The association's activities include organizing early detection clinics equipped with mammography and ultrasound imaging devices. It also collaborates with specialists in surgery, oncology, and pathology to ensure patients receive an accurate diagnosis and are guided toward appropriate treatment pathways.

Additionally, the association engages in various academic activities. It consistently organizes intensive courses on breast imaging annually before October and holds scientific seminars throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month with the participation of radiology consultants from Sudan and abroad,

The association has also hosted two conferences involving specialists from diverse fields, including surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists, who collectively contributed to scientific and specialized seminars. These events have been highly appreciated by attendees, with notable engagement and positive feedback.

Last year, the association's activities were halted due to the war in Sudan. However, it resumed its work this year by organizing free clinics in safe states across Sudan and conducting academic and scientific activities remotely. These virtual events featured the participation of numerous consultants from around the world and were met with great success and widespread acclaim from attendees and participants.

We aspire to actively contribute to early detection of breast cancer through continuous training in the field of breast imaging and with an effective contribution to raising awareness , spreading the culture of early detection , and the correction of wrong believes among the community , hoping to improve survives in this field.
